A domain is a web address you can make yourself for a certain amount of money a year. It's easy to do. It's good to use if you have a really long web address for your blog or website and you want to make it shorter. GoDaddy.com is a good website to use. It's cheaper than most other websites that you can use to purchase domains from. If I was going to have a website that I would be using a lot and it had a long hard to remember URL I would most definitely buy a domain to use.
